The ECCS is intended to address the basic problems that "cause" emigration. Only immediate governmental action can resolve the current issues associated with the influx of migrants seeking asylum within the United States of America. However, because the ECCS now provides economic benefits to Mexico, it will be protected by the Mexican government, thus indirectly providing additional border security at the site of performance.
The ECCS mitigates the many problems associated with mass immigration into the United States. It provides a new source of clean energy along our southern border to help spur the production of new economic resources, housing, and employment all being critically needed to accommodate the millions of migrants moving north.
Economic hardship begets greed, increased corruption and crime, exacerbating the lack of employment opportunities both in Mexico as well as in many other countries, which it turns drives emigration. Individuals and families migrate into the United States, where they hope to find better living conditions, safety, public services, and higher paying employment to support both themselves and their families. Most of these hard working, lower working class migrants have been told and believe that the United States of America is the land of freedom, with boundless compassion, and unlimited wealth; unfortunately, once granted entry, many soon discover this is not actually the case.
Nothing tangible in this world in "unlimited"; neither our perceived wealth, our national or public safety, the land we occupy, the air we breathe, the water we drink, or the food we eat. All must be either defended or maintained for succeeding generations to flourish. In reality, we're all just renters and caretakers of this of this planet. Our lives are short and human existence is fragile, be grateful each day for what we have been granted, and use it wisely.
Issues such as crime, violence, corruption, and lack of access to needed services are a direct result of economic hardship and greed, and economic hardship can lead to environmental pollution and insecurity, both in Mexico and other third world economies, which prompts people to seek refuge and better living conditions in another country such as the United States. All of these issues contribute to social instability.
The ECCS benefits the local community. It will provide access to a new source of clean energy, to generate power, fresh water, to produce additional food resources the local community. Needed ongoing system maintenance and security provides training enhancing local employment opportunities. New vertical farming techniques will be taught and employed inside the agricultural station. The water purification station within the ECCS provides clean water for drinking water and food production. Also, aquaponics will be in incorporated into one specific station in order to provide additional protein resources to the malnourished. Neighboring communities will also benefit from the low-cost, renewable energy, as this energy comes in the form of electrical power and/or hydrogen, which can be easily generated or produced onsite, and then transmitted offsite.
